Headquartered in Jacksonville, Florida and founded in 1955 by George and Sara Solomon,  The company is  now operated by their two sons, Douglas and Ferris. Solomon’s Bargain Center buys and sells new merchandise from insurance companies, freight carriers, government auctions, bankruptcies, liquidations, closeouts, surplus merchandise throughout the country.
